KARACHI: Police arrested six accused during targeted search operation in various areas and seized arms and ammunition from their possession while Rangers also held several persons, Geo News reported Tuesday.According to the sources, police conducted a raid on the tip of regarding the presence of criminals in a house. An exchange of fire took place between the security personnel and the culprits after which six accused managed to escape from the site. Police told that different weapons and security guard uniform were found from the house.On the other hand, police arrested three accused and recovered arms from their possession during an action in Surjani Town in the wee hours of Tuesday.Police said they conducted a raid in Kaneez Fatima society and arrested three suspects involved in criminal activities. Three persons involved in different crimes were also arrested from Orangi Town.Rangers also apprehended six persons during an operation in Bakra Peri area and told that three of them belonged to Lyari gang war.Four persons were also held from Jamshed Quarter during a targeted operation.
